The Pythagorean Theorem.    a cuadrado mas b cuadrado igual a c cuadrado

In this unit we will be working with different problems and exercises that will help us get a better grasp of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Activity

Solve the following problems:

1. The short legs of a right triangle measure 10 yards and 14 yards respectively.  How much does the long leg measure?

2. In a given triangle, the hypotenuse measures 6in. Another leg measures 4in. How much does the remaining leg measure?
